Mrs. Louise Ozburn Adams, age 73, of Atlanta, passed away April 3, 2005, at Emory University Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Mary Lou Ozburn; brothers, Harold Ozburn, Kelvin Ozburn and Bobby Ozburn. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John G. Adams, Jr.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Regious and Pat Ozburn, Mansfield, Albert (Junior) and Betty Ozburn, Newborn, Anthony Ozburn, Jackson; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great- nephews. Mrs. Adams was born in Jasper County, raised in Newton County and was residing in DeKalb County. She was active and a long-time member of Grace United Methodist Church in Atlanta, past president of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Atlanta Dogwood Festival and a member of the Society of Women Accountants and active in many other civic affairs. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Harwell Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. John Beyers, Rev. James Sanders and Judge Samuel Ozburn officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Adams Family Cemetery, C/O Hulon H. Adams, 124 Davis Road, Newborn, GA 30056, J. C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Covington.
