Mr. Jerry L. Studdard, 66, of Blairsville, GA, formerly of Covington, GA, died Nov. 3, 2005, in Blairsville after an extended illness. Mr. Studdard grew up in the Covington Mill area of Covington and was predeceased by his parents, George Spencer Studdard and Annie Ruth Jackson Studdard. He spent over 30 years with the U.S. Postal Service before retiring to Blairsville. Mr. Studdard is survived by his wife, Latrelle Studdard of Blairsville; son, Daniel Jerry Studdard of Tampa, FL; daughters and son-in-law, Jill and Tim Powers of Carrollton, GA, and Kim Nolan of Conyers, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Betty Studdard and Billy and Elizabeth Studdard all of Covington; grandchildren, Kevin Nolan, Katy Nolan, Ben Nolan, all of Conyers, Jimmy Beck and Scott Powers, both of Carrollton; special cousins, Mary Alice Studdard of Loganville and Jane Thompson of Covington; and also many extended family members. Funeral services for Mr. Studdard will be held Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Harwell Funeral Home in Covington. Interment will follow in the Jenkinsburg City Cemetery, The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6-8 p.m.
