Mrs. Geneva Tomlin, age 87, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, died July 24, 2006. Mrs. Tomlin was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and attended Harmony Baptist Church in Covington for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband Runie Tomlin, a daughter Joan Tomlin Davis and a son Ray Tomlin. Mrs. Tomlin is survived by her son Jack Tomlin of Lawrenceville, GA grandchildren Leslie Davis Sparks, Bobby Tomlin, Michael Tomlin, Jonathan Tomlin, Jacquelyn Browning, Wanda Lyles, Christopher Tomlin, Steven Tomlin, Numerous great grandchildren, brother Charles Cargile of McDonough, GA sisters Mary Driver of Conyers, GA Marilyn Cargile of Tampa, FL and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Tomlin will be held 2: PM Friday, July 28, 2006 in the Chapel of J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry Youngblood officiating. Interment will follow at New Covington Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 PM. Historic J.C.
