J. B. Willis, age 90, of Lithonia, died May 9, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elinor Tinsley Willis; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Hamilton McDonald of Atlanta, Patti and Tony Blevins of Snellville; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Marilyn Willis of Greensboro; sisters, Elizabeth Bush, and Nell Lloyd both of Lithonia; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Laverne Willis of Conyers; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A native of Lithonia, Mr. Willis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lithonia, Care Sunday School Class, VFW Post 5290 and the Lithonia Masonic Lodge #84. He served his country during WWII in the U. S. Army Air Corps in both the European and Pacific theaters. A funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock , Thursday, May 11, at the First Baptist Church of Lithonia with the remains placed in state at 10:30. Dr. Jim Martin and Rev. John Caylor will officiate. Interment, Hillandale Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or donations in memory of J. B. Willis may be made to the Building and Renovation Fund at First Baptist Church of Lithonia, P. O.
