Mr. Jerry Baker, age 74, of Conyers, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2007. He was born in Butler County, Ohio on May 16, 1932 to the late Jack Baker and Addie Combs Baker. Mr. Baker was a member of the Covington Elks Lodge #1806. Golden Fleece Masonic Lodge, and the Yarrab Shrine Temple. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, traveling, cooking, camping and bingo. He also enjoyed working with the Elks Youth Programs. Mr. Baker is survived by wife: Marilise Baker, of Conyers; daughter: Suzzette Baker-Bradfield, of Marietta; daughter and son-in-law: Pam and Stoney Hale of Buford; son: Terry Baker of Covington; sister-in-law: Maren Baker of Chuluota, FL; brother and sister-in-law: Kenny and Joan Baker of Conyers; brother: David Baker, of Deerfield Beach, FL; grandchildren; Hunter Bradfield, Brock Baker and Bryce Baker. The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral Home Friday, January 19, 2007 from 4-9pm. The memorial service for Mr. Baker will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, January 20, 2007 in the Chapel of Wheeler of Funeral Home.
