RICHARD Richard Dwight Langley, age 61 of Conyers, died Saturday, March 24, 2007. Born in Atlanta on May 16, 1945, he was the son of the late of William W. and Frances Cornelia Langley. He was a 1963 graduate of Murphy High School and a 1968 graduate of Georgia State College. A sports enthusiast and avid golfer, Dwight's greatest love was his family and a cherished circle of friends. He was a long-time member of Haven Fellowship Church. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Rebecca (Becky) Langley, one son Dax Langley and wife Valerie of Athens, brother Gary Langley and wife Crafton of Atlanta, brother Dan Langley of Lawrenceville, brother-in-law Dr. David S. Gooden and wife Jeanie of Tulsa Oklahoma, mother-in-law Sarah Gooden of Conyers, and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends the evening of March 27, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Horis A. Ward's Rockdale Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 28th at 2:00 PM at Haven Fellowship Church on Smyrna Rd., Rev. Steve Powers and Rev. Jim Martin officiating. Burial will be at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Grayson. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the building fund of Haven Fellowship Church, 2240 Smyrna Rd. SW, Conyers, GA 30094.
