Virginia L. Allen, age 81, of Conyers, died Friday, January 18, 2008. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2008, at Horis A. Ward's Rockdale Chapel at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Paul Cassola officiating. A native of Chowin County, NC, Mrs. Allen retired from Kmart's Jewelry Department. She is survived by: husband of 30 years, Howard Allen of Conyers; children, William D. & Dora Moravek of DesMoines, IA, Rita A. & John Collins of Covington, Timothy R. & Laura A. Moravek of Lilburn, Michael P. & Lawanna Moravek of Conyers; step-children, Howard R. & Connie Allen of Panama City, Michael G. & Beverly Allen of Lithonia, Marietta A. & Kenny Faith of Conyers; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Bass of Blairsville; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard F. Moravek and daughter, Linda F. Gannaway. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
