Grace P. Armistead, age 94, of Conyers, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude H. Armistead, Sr. Mrs. Armistead is survived by daughters, Barbara Jackson, Conyers, Dorothy & Lavoid Musgrove, Conyers; son, Claude H. & Lynda Armistead, Jr., Rome; grandchildren, Dan & Laura Musgrove, Michael & Brandy Jackson, Joan & Ty Walinski, David & Tasha Armistead, Elaine & Corey Allen; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Mrs. Armistead was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2008 at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Morgan officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
