Alla Mae New, age 83, of Conyers, died October 31, 2008. She is survived by her daughters, Judy New, Betty Jane New, Mamie Putnam all of Conyers; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Max Jones of Canton NC; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Nancy New of Conyers; 1 sister, 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Monday, November 3 in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Freddy Spry officiating. Interment will follow in Turner Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 Sunday evening at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia 770-482-4411.
