Dora Goddard Conner, age 95 of Conyers, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keelous Conner, great granddaughter, Amanda Conner; sister, Nora McWilliams; brothers, Carl Goddard and Clark Goddard and 4 step-sisters. She is survived by children, Kathleen & Charles Young, Conyers; Harvey & Deloris Conner, Stockbridge, Perry & Carolyn Conner, Conyers, William & Elaine Conner, Conyers; brother, Roy Goddard, Lithonia; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Conner was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church on South Goddard Road. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Philadelphia Baptist Church on South Goddard Road at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Pigg & Rev. Cecil Etheridge officiating; interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Allen Conner Kidney Fund at Bank of America.
