Rebecca Hill, left, and Nora Shannon put the finishing touches on a tent Wednesday as they begin setting up for the third annual Big Haynes Creek Wildlife Festival that will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers. Below, Pam Smith helps out nearby gathering firewood. The area is set up as a backdrop for festival patrons to use for photographs. The festival will feature 50 vendors this year and include artists selling items such as wildlife photography, paintings and pottery; several wildlife displays and presentations with snakes, birds and mammals; Conyers Kennel Club show ring demonstrations; history and culture discussions; exhibits; entertainment and food. The festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is $5; children 4 and under are free. A coupon good for $2 off on admission is available at www.bighaynescreekwildlifefestival.com.
