Citizen staff photographer Erin Evans captured these images of Relay for Life in Rockdale and Newton counties April 23.
Relay for Life events are annual fundraisers for the American Cancer Society. Teams pledge to walk laps around a track in exchange for donations. The events also feature fundraising booths and live entertainment.
This year, Rockdale's Relay for Life took place at the Georgia International Horse Park and Newton's was held at the Church of Covington.
