Doris Adcock, age 86, of Conyers died Monday, August 2, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman H. Adcock. Mrs. Adcock is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny & Diane Adcock, Hoschton; granddaughter, Dawn Taylor, Alpharetta; great-granddaughter, Hannah Taylor, Alpharetta; sister, Elizabeth Payne, Conyers, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Morgan officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
