Amos Carl White and Helen Phillips White, former residents of Conyers who now live in Jonesboro, celebrated their 70th anniversary on Aug. 10. The couple celebrated at Azalea Gardens with family and friends. They have two children, Winston White and Larry White. They have six grandchildren: Stephanie, Regina, Valerie, Stephen, Zack and Zane. They have seven great-grandchildren: Jana, Quintine, Chandler, Carlie, Cayla, Layla and Kherington.
