CONYERS -- A Conyers woman was arrested in connection with an armed robbery in the Sugar Hill subdivision Sunday.
Kirstie Lightner, 20, of 1626 Cherry Hill Lane, was taken into custody by the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office on Monday as a suspect in an incident involving her and the robbery victim.
Lightner allegedly accompanied the male victim to a house on Sugar Plum Court to get a jacket the victim had reportedly left there. The male victim waited in the parked car in the front of the residence while Lightner went in for the jacket, according to the incident report.
While waiting for her return, two men approached the victim in the vehicle. One of the suspects pointed a handgun to the victim's chest and demanded the victim empty his pockets, the report said.
The victim told investigators whenever he attempted to look at the gunman he would be struck in the head with the gun and told to look straight ahead, according to the report.
The victim gave up his wallet, with his driver's license and a small amount of cash to the suspects, who then told him to leave.
Lightner was still in the house, and the victim said he saw the two male suspects go into the same house as he drove away, the report said.
The robbers are described as black men, with one described as being tall, "heavy set," and wearing a white shirt. The victim said he did not get a good look at the other suspect.
The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the case.
Lightner continued to be held at the Rockdale County Jail without bond, according to jail administrators on Thursday.
