Mrs. Clara Mae Adams, age 82 of Covington, died Saturday, July 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Lee Adams and parents, Harrison B. and Flora Mae Townsend Heath. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and William Dunavent, Covington; sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur and Kathy Adams, Conyers, Ray and Lori Adams, Deland, FL; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren. Mrs. Adams was born in Cartersville, Bartow County, GA and came from a family of 14 children. She was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 26, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Rev. Randy Baldwin officiating; burial will be at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
