Rockdale Baptist Church, 1295 Smyrna Road in Rockdale County, will host Life Line Screenings to assess stroke and bone fracture risks for residents, with appointments beginning at 9 a.m. on Nov. 9.
Screenings identify potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries and irregular heartbeat rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms and hardening of the arteries in the legs, a strong predictor of heart disease. A bone density screening will assess osteoporosis risk.
Packages start at $139. Screenings take 60 to 90 minutes to complete.
