Frank and Jennifer Hughes of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Lee Hughes of Dahlonega, to Eric Brooks Bagley of Savannah, son of Chris and Renee Bagley of Conyers.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thelma Hughes of Monroe and the late Mr. Ferrell Hughes and Mr. John George of Denver and the late Mrs. Jancie George. She is a 2006 graduate of Brookwood High School. She is currently pursuing a bachelor of science degree in education at North Georgia College and State University and plans to graduate in May. She plays soccer at North Georgia College and State University and is an alumni member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. She plans to attend physical therapy school for her graduate work.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald March of Macon and Mrs. Gwen Bagley of Conyers and the late Mr. Joe Bagley. He is a 2006 graduate of Salem High School and a 2010 graduate of North Georgia College and State University, where he earned a bachelors degree in criminal justice. He was a member of the Corp of Cadets while attending North Georgia College and State University and is an alumni member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. After graduation, he commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army. He is a lieutenant in the United States Army and is stationed at Ft. Stewart in Savannah.
The couple plans to wed May 7 at The Vines Mansion in Loganville.
