James Armon Jackson of McDonough, GA died Sunday August 28, 2011 at his residence. He was born on June 12, 1938 in Lithonia, GA to James William and Lilly Belle Hawkins Jackson. He was a brick mason and started when he was a teenager. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law. Mr. Jackson is survived by wife Sue Jackson of McDonough, GA; sons Mike Jackson of McDonough, GA, Chris Jackson of Conyers, GA; daughters Melissa Parker of McDonough, GA, Nikki Redmond of McDonough, GA; brother William Jackson of Temple, GA, Jimmy Jackson of Flowery Branch, GA; sisters Priscila Jackson of Covington, Shirley Searles of Caribou, MA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents James William and Lilly Belle Hawkins Jackson. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday August 31, 2011 at the Georgia International Horse Park Carriage Room.
