Donna Hutchinson VanderHorst, age 68, of Conyers, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Salem United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dean Kring officiating. Interment will be held in Valatie, NY. A native of Niskayuna, NY, Donna was a member of Salem UMC and a professional Cake Decorator for many years and a loving mother and wife. She is survived by her loving and very devoted husband of 47 years, William L. VanderHorst of Conyers, GA; daughters, Wendy E. Brooke of Roswell, Amy (Matthew) Wade of Monticello; son, William Brett (Dianne) VanderHorst of Wiley; grandchildren, Zackery (Kim) VanderHorst of Wiley, Jeremiah VanderHorst of Athens, William Wade of Monticello; Emmilyn Wade of Monticello; great-grandson, Nathaniel VanderHorst; brother, Douglas (Pat) Hutchinson of Kenly, NC; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dolores Hutchinson. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6-8 PM at Horis A. Ward's Rockdale Chapel.
