Nancy Edna Miller, age 89 of Conyers, died Sunday, May 8, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Miller; parents, Sanders & Ruth Adcock; brothers, Sylvester Adcock & Herman Adcock; sisters, Margaret Kiser and infant sister, Dorothy Adcock all of Milstead. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Reagan, Conyers; grandchildren, Chuck & Diane Reagan, Conyers, Wanda & Curtis Lambert, Oxford, Nan & Kevin Reilly, Rutledge; great-grandchildren, Magan Roberts, Matt Munger, Britt & Avery Reagan, Reagan, Ben & Luke Reilly; great-great grandchildren, Gage Munger & Gavin Roberts; sister, Beatrice Hester, Milstead, nieces & nephews, Jerry & Anrie Miller, Ronnie Miller, Danny & Diane Adcock, Laura Jean Christian, Neal Hester and numerous other beloved family members. Edna and her husband lived in Milstead for over 50 years before moving to Conyers to live with their beloved daughter, Patsy. Edna worked in the Calloway Mills until it closed in 1960. She was a member of Crossroad United Methodist Church (formerly Milstead Methodist Church). Edna was famous for her baking talents, Brunswick Stew and love for watching the Atlanta Braves. Her generosity with her time, kind and compassionate heart and always willing to take care of others endeared her to everyone she met. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Hannah Garrett Johnson officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
