Mrs. Carolyn Chastain, age 80 of Conyers, died August 1, 2012. She was preceded in death by parents, James and Alma Davis. She is survived by husband, Garnett “Pete” Chastain, Conyers; daughter, Gwendolynn Gail Chastain, Conyers; sister, Hazel Lynn & Bill Mason, Smyrna; nieces, Jean & Raymond Beck, Dawsonville, Ruth and John Burel, Dawsonville, Debbie Teagle, Sheralyn Teagle, Karen Davis, Decatur; nephew, Kirk Davis, Grayson. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Dr. Bill Neal officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.
