James Peter Clark, Sr. passed away at the VA Hospital in San Diego, CA on July 9, 2012. Jim graduated from Regis University and also studied at Pepperdine University. Jim was a Viet Nam Veteran and flew the F4 Phantom in the Marine Corps where he served for ten years. He was then an airline pilot for a number of years flying from the US to Europe. Jim was a Regional Sales Manager for Pepsi-Cola in the southern US. He was an avid skeet shooter and placed at numerous state competitions. Jim loved living on the beach in San Diego where he was close to Miramar Base where he was stationed for part of his military service. Jim was preceded in death by his father John T. Clark, Sr and Elizabeth Alund Clark of Albany, NY and is survived by his son James P. Clark, Jr., Statesboro, GA, brother and sister-in-law John and Mary Lou Clark of San Antonio, TX, niece Kate McDermott and husband Tom, nephew John Clark, III and wife Adrianna. A graveside service will be on Saturday, August 4 at 11:00 am in the East View Cemetery, Conyers, GA. Rev. Al Myers will be officiating.
