Frances Ann Wilson of Covington, GA passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Newton Medical Center. She was born on May 13, 1942 in Clarksville, TN to Malcolm and Annie Belle Anderson Hancock. She was retired from John Deere as an Administravite Assistant and currently working for the Newton County Board of Elections as a Poll Manager and a Trainer. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Zion Baptist Church where she was a Bible Teacher and involved in the Ladies Ministry and was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution. She enjoyed reading, doing Arts and Crafts and being with her grandchildren. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband Gene Wilson of Covington, GA; sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Lee Ann Wilson, Brad and Valarie Wilson all of Covington, GA; sisters Bettye and George Schmidt of Amarillo, TX, Linda and Richard Hopper of Clarksville, TN; brother Tom and Linda Hancock of South Pittsburg, TN; grandchildren Will Wilson, Heather Wilson, Harrison Wilson, MacKenzie Wilson, Chase Wilson, Cate Wilson. She is preceded in death by her parents Malcolm and Annie Bell Anderson Hancock. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Reese Sanders officiating. Interment will be Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00PM.
