Richard Douglas Childers, age 40 of Conyers, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012. He is survived by sons, James “Jamie”, Davis and Gavin; daughter, Bailey; fiance’, Lori Mitcham; father, James Richard Childers, Jr.; brother, Scott Sullivan; sister, Sarah Oliver; grandmothers, Ann Childers and Gloria Blackburn. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Bryant. Richard attended and played football at Meadow Creek High School. He was employed by Atlanta Cutlery of Conyers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Pastor Jason Anglin officiating; interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
