Lillian Brown, age 90 of Conyers, GA, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012. Mrs. Brown was a member of New Life Praise Center in Lawrenceville and enjoyed gardening and babysitting many children through the years. She worked for over 40 years at Pacific Uniform Company in Conyers as a seamstress. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford O. Brown; her parents, John David and Clara Jane Lively Simmons. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sara and Jackson Ellington of Conyers and Jenell and David Orr of Conyers; grandchildren, Ken (Carlene) Ellington, Kim (Pete) Salvey, Vincent (McCann) Dior, and Stephanie Childers; great-grandchildren, Rachel Salvey, Catherine Salvey, Michelle Barrett, Shawn Childers, Megan Ellington and Brooke Ellington; step-great-grandchildren, Drake McDaniel, Crimson McDaniel High; sister, Delree Turner of Conyers; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Roger Aikens and Rev. Chris Aikens officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be J.D. Coursey, Alvin Simmons, Kenneth Coursey, Dennis Brown, Pete Salvey, and Vincent Dior.
