Fresenius Medical Care North America, a network of dialysis facilities, named its Fresenius Medical Care Honey Creek facility, located at 1901 Honey Creek Commons South East in Conyers, a Center of Excellence for achieving the highest standards in patient care in 2011. These annual awards recognize the facilities that perform the best, based on multiple objective measures of dialysis clinical quality.
Fresenius Medical Care selects Center of Excellence facilities by reviewing patients' outcome measures such as dialysis adequacy, control of anemia, nutritional status, patient satisfaction and transplant education, among others.
