CONYERS -- A woman who allegedly tried to run over a man with her car in May was arrested on a warrant Nov. 28.
Adrianne Denise Lindesay, 40, of 563 Inland Way, Lilburn, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident that was reported May 4.
According to a report by the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office, Lindesay allegedly went to Conyers Auto Auction on Iris Drive in May to get a temporary tag for a car that was purchased by someone else at Atlanta Auction Access.
Conyers Auto Auction is a division of Atlanta Auction Access.
The manager at Conyers Auto Auction reportedly told Lindesay he couldn't give her the tag because she did not have the bill of sale showing that she purchased the vehicle.
Lindesay reportedly became irate and called the manager vulgar names. When asked to leave, Lindesay allegedly refused but then got in her vehicle and stated she was going to run over the manager.
According to witness statements, Lindesay pulled her car forward and then accelerated in reverse toward the manager, striking him on the leg as he jumped out of the way.
The suspect had fled prior to the arrival of law enforcement. The incident was captured on video by cameras located outside the business.
