Jamel Small of Covington, who works in Conyers at Radio Shack, spent his break Monday mailing Christmas packages to friends and family. Helping out Small at the post office off Ga. Highway 138 is Patsy Banks, who is working as a lobby director in Conyers through Saturday. She normally works as a health and resource manager in the district office in Duluth, but Banks said she's happy to help out because she's a "people person." Postmaster James V. Brown said the purpose of a lobby director is to help postal customers have their packages ready to go once they get to the counter or self-serve kiosk.
