Staff Photos: Sue Ann Kuhn-Smith Joyce Hay, a canasta player at Rockdale County's Olivia Haydel Senior Center, takes her turn in a game called hand-and-foot canasta. This variation is when each player is dealt two sets of cards - the hand, which is played first, and the foot, which is played when all cards in the hand have been played. Hay has been playing since she started coming to the center and really likes it. The center's canasta club meets every Wednesday from 12 to 3:30 p.m. There is a bridge club at the center that meets at the same time on Tuesdays. For more information, call the senior center at 770-278-7230.
