Something desperately needs to be done with this stretch of McDaniel Mill Rd. I have lived on this road for 5 years and have seen 4 accidents in the exact same spot. The house on the corner has been hit 3 times, once by a Rockdale County Sheriff. Now someone has been killed. The county is more than aware of the danger this stretch of road poses and turns a blind eye every time there is an accident. Now a life has been lost. Regardless of the speed of the vehicle, this could have been prevented.

The road is fine. It is a country road that needs to be driven at the speed limit. Kids like to drive the curves fast. I used to fly down that road when I was in high school. It was fun but someone upstairs was looking out for me. The signs on the curves are fine. This road needs to be driven slowly is all.

It's a neighborhood area with a big blind curve at that point. I don't think speed bumps are out of the question for this situation, esp as lives are being lost and property damaged.
