According to the Newton County Sheriff's Office, the cognitively impaired woman, Eloise Moore, was located in an Atlanta jail cell.
"She was locked up in Atlanta and charged with pedestrian in roadway," said NCSO Public Information Officer Deputy Courtney Morrison. "She's perfectly fine."
Morrison said it is unknown how or when the woman made it to Atlanta, but it appeared once there, she began wandering. She was arrested around noon Tuesday and once booked into the jail, investigators with NCSO were notified.
Moore was reported missing from a personal care home located near the intersection of Salem Road and Ga. Highway 81, South Saturday afternoon.
An NCSO incident report, stated the woman was allowed to go outside to smoke. An attendant at the home told investigators when she went back about 30 minutes later to check on the woman, she was gone and she had no idea where she went.
