James C. (Jim) Rombough of Covington, GA passed away Monday January 16, 2012. He was born on October 23, 1951 in Phoenix, AZ to Jack Charles and Lee Rombough. He graduated from Cortez High School in Phoenix, AZ in 1969 and then attended one year at Glendale Community College after which he hit the road to begin following his heart for his love of music. He would love to be remembered most for his singing. Jim performed coast to coast but he was particularly proud of opening for many headliners in Las Vegas. He was well loved for his musical ability and his sense of humor. Mr. Rombough is survived by wife Janet Rombough of Covington, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law Jon Chris and Rose Rombough of Ohio, Chuck and Mary Grant of McDonough, GA; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by father Jack Charles (Pop) Rombough, mother Lee Rombough, step-mother Joan Duffy Rombough. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday January 20, 2012 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1:00-2:00PM.
