Bernice Gattis
B.T. (Junior) Gattis, age 82 of Conyers, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Eloise Gattis; sons and daughters-in-law, Troy D. and Yara Gattis of Savannah, James E. and Christy Gattis of Conyers; grandchildren, Hope, Savannah, Scarlett and Harrison Gattis, Yuda Malka and Sarah Malka; brothers, Edward Gattis, Conyers, Lamar Gattis, Conyers, Doyle Gattis, Conyers; sisters, Shirley Millar, Alpharetta, Amanda Digby, Conyers and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gattis was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rockdale County, an avid bowler, golfer and whittler. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Scott Richardson and Rev. Dennis Moon officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to At Home Hospice, 1374 Manchester Dr., Conyers, GA 30012.
