Mix a package of dry ranch dressing in with canned chicken and cream cheese to create a delicious dip.
My sister-in-law Stacy Ingram often shares some of her yummy recipes with me. And I think you too will be glad she shared this with me.
Chicken cream cheese dip is this week's featured recipe. Stacy got the recipe from her friend Gloria, who I hear is quite the cook. Stacy also noted that Gloria and her family have this appetizer on their sailboat so you know the recipe has to be easy and not messy while enjoying their family time on the boat.
She also shared this with me because she knows her little brother Kevin, who is also my husband, loves ranch dressing and this recipe calls for a package of ranch dressing mix. The ranch dressing really adds a lot of flavor to this recipe. It seems to be the perfect ingredient.
So if you are searching for a great Super Bowl appetizer to fix and you've been looking for something different, easy and fast, this would be the recipe for you. Stacy said this recipe would be great for luncheons and showers as well. I couldn't agree more.
One of the great things about adding the pecans last is that you can leave a few of the filled shells just as they are and not add the pecans, just in case you have come people coming over that have nut allergies.
I managed to whip this together in 10 minutes. Be ready to make more because this dish will go fast.
