Mr. Carl Ransom Davis, age 78 of Conyers, died Friday, July 6, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. J.R. Davis, formerly of Milstead; siblings, Herschel Davis, Louise Davis O’Kelley, Hazel Davis Whitten, Heywood Davis. He is survived by his son, James Allen Davis, Clewiston, FL; daughters and son-in-law, Wendy Renee Davis, McDonough, Cathy and John Zahurak, Tavares, FL; grandchildren, Kolton James Davis, Shelby Renee and Hannah Diane Zahurak; sister, Roselle Henschen, Atlanta; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Davis loved golf and FSU football. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Nolan Jackson officiating; interment will follow at East View Cemetery, Conyers. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
