Mr. Linwood Tudor, 85, of Jackson, Georgia passed away July 17, 2012. He was born June 5, 1927 in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Sidney and Mamie Wilkerson Tudor. Mr. Tudor served his country in World War II in the United States Navy, he was a member of Covington Christian Church, and he enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He was a great and loving caregiver to his wife Rosalyn Tudor who preceded him in death 2011. Mr. Tudor is survived by his children and their spouses; Jim and Sandra Tudor of Newborn, Charles Tudor of Redington Shores, FL and Jeffrey and Lee Tudor of Windermere, FL along with six grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Tudor will be held at 11 O’clock Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Covington Christian Church. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
