John Anthony “Tony” Torbush, age 61 of Conyers, died July 29, 2012. He was preceded by his parents, J. B. and Tiney Elizabeth Torbush; brother, Andy Torbush. He is survived by wife, Sandra “Sam” Torbush, Conyers; 2 sons, Weylin & Krista Torbush, Bishop, Wesley & Valerie Torbush, Monroe; 5 sisters, Diane Torbush, Lithonia, Joann & Rick Shields, Locust Grove, Carol & Johnny Tannehill, Lithonia, Debbie & Danny Whitmer, Redan, Pat & John Siwick, Conyers; 1 brother, Doug & Debbie Torbush, Stone Mountain; 5 grandchildren who affectionately knew him as Pa Paw, Mackenzie, Wyatt, Brody, Payton and Cooper Torbush; nieces and nephews. Mr. Torbush was the owner operator of J and T Services. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Wayne Torbush and Rev. Gary Lynn officiating; interment will follow at Sodom Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
