Henry Clinton Jenkins of Conyers, GA passed away Tuesday June 5, 2012 at Abbey Hospice. He was born on December 11, 1925 in Slocomb, AL to Talmer and Cora Smith Jenkins. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He served honorably in the US Navy for 23 years in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends. Mr. Jenkins is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Lillian Jenkins of Conyers, GA; daughter Sherry Gatton of Conyers GA; grandchildren Blair Jenkins, Jenna Gatton and Clint Gatton; brothers Harold Jenkins of Graceville FL, Ken Jenkins of FL, Wallace Jenkins of Dothan, AL; sister Margie Brannon of Dothan, AL. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Talmer and Cora Jenkins, son Randy Jenkins and several brothers and one sister. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, June 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Reese Sanders officiating. Interment will be at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
