Raymond Gibboney
Raymond Connell Gibboney went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2012. Funeral Services will be at St. Simon’s Episcopal Church on Highway 138, next to Pine Log Park on Friday June 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. He was born on July 31, 1958. He was a hairstylist in Rockdale and Newton Counties for over twenty years. He was a gentle spirit with a love of life that was infectious. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Simon’s Episcopal Church or to The American Cancer Society in honor of his mother Dorothy Gibboney.

Jimmy, Van, Russ,
I just found out about Ray's death today. He and I had gotten together several times over the last few months and spoken fairly often up until about three weeks ago. I know he was in a lot of pain but I didn't realize how bad things had gotten. Needless to say when we talked, we usually escalated to the great times we all had.
All my best to you guys. He will be sorely missed. Gib
