Mrs. Irene DeLamar, age 74 of Snellville, died Friday, June 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior DeLamar and son, Steven DeLamar. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Cynthia and Reggie Thompson, Lagrange, Elaine DeLamar and Tee York, Snellville; sons and daughters-in-law, Malone and Kim DeLamar, Walnut Grove, Eric Smith, Covington, Dale and Rikita DeLamar, Conyers; sister, Jessie Gardner, Suwanee; brother, John Smith, Hogansville; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. DeLamar was a retired manager with Krystal in Conyers. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with William Schroeder officiating; interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Restlawn Memory Gardens in Lagrange.
