LaMalva, Geoffroy & Oeland, a law firm based in Conyers with offices in Covington and Atlanta, announces its participation in Georgia's Legal Food Frenzy, a statewide food and fund drive hosted by the Office of the Attorney General and the State Bar Association, in partnership with the Georgia Food Bank Association.
Michael Geoffroy, partner at the firm and a member of the Executive Committee of the State Bar Association, serves as a volunteer representative for the food drive.
"With more than 1.6 million Georgians needing food assistance -- including working families, children, and elderly individuals -- it is more important than ever that we provide a contribution to our state food banks," said Geoffroy in a press release.
"All of the food we collect will benefit our local food banks, serving the Rockdale, Newton and surrounding areas. It is our firm's goal to collect the most food in our region, though we look forward to some healthy competition for this great cause."
Organizations based in Newton, Rockdale or surrounding areas that would like to participate should contact Michael Geoffroy at 770.483.6557 or michael@lgolawfirm.com.
