Brenda Jean Harris of Covington, GA passed away Tuesday March 13, 2012 at Vista Care Hospice. She was born on April 26, 1946 in Clinton, TN to Earl and Virginia Foley. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family,working on projects outside and she loved to sew. Mrs. Harris is survived by daughters Selina Lee Karter of Norcross, Deborah Harris Watford of Covington, son Gerald George Harris Jr. of Rutledge, sister Loretta Bates of Oxford, Nora Marie Henson of Oxford,Dolly Kay Polk of Jackson, son Earl Lee Foley of Loganville, grandchildren Brittney Truscott, Kelley Stott and son in law Christopher Trusscott. She is preceded in death by her mother and father Virginia and Earl Foley, her husband of 52 years Gerald George Harris Sr., sister Earl Dean Crapps, daughter Tammie Jean Harris and granddaughter Shannon Stewart. Services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home. Interment will be at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 5:00-8:00PM and Friday, March 16, 2012 from 11:00-2:00PM.
