Agnes G. Parker, age 85, of Conyers, died Monday, May 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Parker. Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence & Lantie Gibbs of Duluth; sister-in-law, Dot Gibbs of Social Circle; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John B. & Shirley Parker of Covington; nieces: Janice (Woody) Smith of Williamson, Mary Lynn (Ed) Reinagel of Social Circle, Joann (Danny) Jardine of Lawrenceville, Glenda (Terry) Balthaser of FL, Gail (Ron) Taylor of Norcross, Sherryl (Phil) Goins, Susan (Will) Davis all of Covington; nephews: Jeff Gibbs of Atlanta, Philip (Lynn) Gibbs of Tucker, Gary (Ava) Savage of Conyers, Kelly Parker of Oxford; numerous great nieces, great nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held 11 o’clock, Thursday, May 17 in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. John Donaldson and Rev. Mike Wadley officiating. Interment will follow at 2 o’clock at the Social Circle City Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in her memory to Rockland United Methodist Church, 6747 Rockland Rd., Lithonia, GA 30038.
