SSGT Paul O. McCurdy (Ret), age 80 of Loganville passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012. Graveside Services will be 4 PM, Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Loganville. Paul was a Retired Staff Sergeant with 27 ½ years of service. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, then served with the U. S. Air Force Reserve, and Georgia Army National Guard. He was also retired from Jefferson Smurfit Corp in Stone Mountain with 35 years of service. Mr. McCurdy was preceded in death by his wife of 51½ years, Jacquelyne Moss McCurdy in 2006. He is survived by: Sons & Daughters-in-law Jack & Dawn McCurdy, Hale, MI; Joe & Lynn McCurdy, Covington; Jim & Donna McCurdy, Anderson, IN; 6 Grandchildren: Brandon & Karly McCurdy, Matthew McCurdy, Joshua McCurdy, Jeremy & Kat McCurdy, Melanie & Dale Hummer, Christopher McCurdy; Great Grandchildren: Preston, Sammy, Essie, Mason, Jacob, Nola, Finn, Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
