Mrs. Patricia M. (Pat) Yost, 71 of Covington passed away May 21st, 2012 at At Home Hospice in Conyers. She was born in Louisville, KY to the late Willard and Grace Tillett Wise. Mrs. Yost lived life to the fullest! She loved the outdoors, especially the beach. She loved swimming, camping, the mountains and her flower gardens. Cooking big dinners for her family especially during the holidays was one of her favorite things to do. She loved singing gospel and country music and dancing. Mrs. Yost retired from the Newton County School System after serving for more than 15 years as Dietician and manager. She was a member of Almon Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She is predeceased by her husband William Raymond Yost, her brothers Wayne Wise, Jerry Wise and sister Marilyn Wilhoite. Surviving are her daughters and sons in law, Lora & David Woodbury, Katy & Dwight Digby and Sheila Hughes all of Covington, brothers and sisters Mike Wise, John Wise, Wanda Kettle and Judy Hungate, grandchildren Joey Digby, Tara Berger, Amanda Dunn, Brittni Sherrill, David Wayne & StaceyWoodbury, Jr., Nicole Woodbury and great grandchildren Jadyn Digby, Maddox Digby, Gavin Sherrill, Maggie Berger, Landon Dunn, Mason Digby, Grayson Woodbury and Aiden Woodbury and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Yost will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday May 24th, 2012 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Dillon officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
