Mrs. Frances Harris, age 94 of Conyers, was born June 10, 1918 and died Friday, November 23, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Lamar Harris; first husband, H. D. Coody; parents, Golden and Minnie Odom; son and daughter-in-law, Harlus M. and Annette Coody; brothers, Odis Odum, James Odum, Thomas Odom; and sister, Barbara Elliot. She is survived by her children, Theresa and George Seal, Amanda Aycox, all of Conyers, Joan Freeman, Covington; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Bill) Odom, Conyers; Joe Odom, Covington; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harris was a member of Hi Roc Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Terry Brock and John Brockman officiating; Committal Service with Rev. Craig Smith will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 12 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
