Marjorie Nell Bond of Bond Lakes Road, Conyers, GA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the age of 88. Her great-granddaughter’s marriage was Saturday, and immediately after the wedding she visited her great-grandmother while still in her wedding gown to show her love and say her final farewell before leaving for her honeymoon. Mrs. Bond was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Mosley Bond, Jr. She is survived by sons, Roy Bond, III and Judy, David Bond, and Bruce Bond; her daughter, Tina Bond Lavelle, who was her caregiver for 12 years and her best friend. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Angela and Chris Conner and Alan Bond; her great-grandchildren, Candace and Shane Leshok and Dakota Conner; along with her sister-in-law, Cornelia Barbush. Margie was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and always a dear and caring friend to everyone. She was a homemaker most of her married life and a member of First Baptist Church of Conyers. Memorial Service plans will be announced at a later date.
