Earl Linwood Lazenby, Sr. went to be with his Lord, October 5, 2012. He was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He served in the U.S. Army for two years after WWII then worked in the fire protection business for fifty years, during which time he owned Lazenby Sprinkler Company for eight of those years. He was a faithful member of Brown Bridge Christian Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Louise Wright Lazenby; daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Larry Barnett; son and daughter-in-law, Earl Jr. (Woody) and Colleen Lazenby; son-in-law, Charles Perry and his wife, Cathy Perry; grandchildren, Brian Barnett, Lisa Moseley and husband, Kirk, Karen Aiello and husband, Mike, Joanna Legg and husband, Jeff, Kelly Butler, Michael Lazenby; great-grandchildren, Kent and Kyle Moseley, Grayson and Aidan Legg, Jacob and Dylan Butler and Michael Lazenby, Jr.; brother, Jim Lazenby. Mr. Lazenby was preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy Lazenby Perry. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Dana Hunt and Bill Rollins officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to Crosspoint Christian Church, 4550 Hwy. 20, SE, Conyers, GA 30013.
