Monday's cool, windy weather had even those used to the elements bundling up to stay warm. This horse on Costley Mill Road was photographed Monday afternoon wearing a turnout blanket for a little extra protection. As part of the effects of Hurricane Sandy, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for Rockdale County until 8 a.m. today, with winds of sustained speeds of at least 20 mph or gusts of 35 mph or stronger. Today's weather is expected to be very windy, sunny and cool, with a high of 56 degrees. Staff Photo: Sue Ann Kuhn-Smith
